Prayer & Worship

Here at St Catherine’s we are in the Church of England and on Sundays always have a Holy Communion at one of our services.

We celebrate the Christian year, especially at Christmas and Easter and enjoy the use of colour and candles in our prayer life.

We read the Bible in depth through the year using the lectionary of the Church, in Sunday service and Bible Classes.

We pray for others in intercession and in our prayer and healing ministry. Please see a minister if you would like help with this.

Each Sunday cards from the prayer stand are written to remind us of those in need. We remember those we know and those

Luke 11.1 - 4

Jesus was praying in a certain place, and after he had finished, one of his disciples said to him,
"Lord, teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples."
He said to them, "When you pray, say:
Father, hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come.
Give us each day our daily bread.
And forgive us our sins,
for we ourselves forgive everyone indebted to us.
And do not bring us to the time of trial."
